Lion Leon Olson is a 35 year member of Lions Clubs International. Lion Leon has served as President of the Rhinelander Lions Club for the Lions year of 1985-6, serves as treasurer and Chaplin of the Rhinelander Lions Club. Lion Leon is also a Rhinelander Lions Club Monarch. Lion Leon Olson also serves on the Governors Cabinet of Lions District 27-C2 as Chaplin, the Lions Club International Foundation, and has also served as a Lions Zone Chairman.

Charles “Chuck” Franzy has served as secretary of the Rhinelander Lions Club for the past 14 years. Has served as Lions District 27-C2 Governor for the Lions year 1981-2. President of the Rhinelander Lions Club for the 1978-9 Lions year, and is a Rhinelander Lions Club Monarch. Lion Charles “Chuck” Franz is a Melvin Jones Fellow. Also, Lion” Chuck” Franz has served as a Director of the Wisconsin Lions International Foundation. Lion “Chuck” Franz has served the Rhinelander community representing Lions and Lions community projects for the past 46 years. The Birch-Sturm fellowship is intended to recognize individuals who exemplify dedication and commitment to Lionism. The Birch-Sturm fellowship was created by the Wisconsin Lions Foundation to honor those individuals who exemplify undying dedication and commitment to Lionism. The fellowship is named after Wisconsin’s only International Presidents, Frank V. Birch, and Clarence L. Sturm who were great supporters of the Foundation. |
